The wooden slab inside the metal baskets is two Kiln Dried 8/4 or 2" thick slabs of White Oak glued together. The seam is hidden by the metal frame to create the illusion that it is one solid piece of wood.

Pricing is based on the specified size. Different species of hardwood such as Hickory, Ash, and Walnut are also available if you are wanting to achieve a different look for your table.
